TOC fields the primary orthopedic team physicians for Florida State University (FSU), Florida A&M University (FAMU), and Tallahassee Community College, as well as numerous area high schools.

Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist (CO)

Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic has an excellent opportunity for a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist or Certified Orthotist to join a thriving 24 physician Orthopedic Practice to evaluate and determine appropriate prosthetic and orthotic needs, in consultation with physicians and other allied health providers regarding patients.

Position requires a bachelor's degree and certification by the American Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics.  Must be eligible for Florida licensure.

Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon

Excellent opportunity for a foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon (or a fellowship training orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle) to join a thriving 24 physician orthopedic practice.

Medical Assistant

Full-time position available for a certified medical assistant to work under the direction of a physician specializing in spine surgery, assisting with patient exams.  Other duties include, but not limited to, assisting with the treatment of orthopedic injuries, applying and/or removing a variety of casts and splints, cleaning and dressing wounds and removing sutures, pins and wires, scheduling specialized tests and all surgeries.  Must have strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, strong and effective communication skills, excellent computer skills in order to work with EMR system and to scribe for the physician, exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, and must be able to work collaboratively as a team member of the clinic staff to provide high quality treatment and efficient service to patients and clinic.

Prior relevant work experience of at least one year in a medical office, supporting surgeons, physicians or other allied health professionals required.  Certification preferred and certification within 2 years of employment required.

Physician Assistants

Excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistants to join a thriving 24 physician Orthopedic Practice to participate in all aspects of the medical care and treatment of orthopedic patients under the direct supervision of Orthopedic Surgeons in a clinical setting.   Position requires completion of Physician Assistant Program, in addition to Florida licensure.   Accepting applications from new graduates.

Excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join a thriving 24 physician Orthopedic Practice to participate in all aspects of the medical care and treatment of orthopedic patients in our satellite offices or during an extended hours clinic at the main facility.   Position requires completion of Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Program, in addition to Florida licensure.  Must have at least 5 years of relevant orthopedic surgical experience and be able to function independently.
